Default 15x7 wheels that will clear the calipers

Hi,

Two years ago I bought an EG5 and the previous owner upgraded it to DC2 type r calipers with the 282mm discs.

I got the car with Rota Competition 15x7 ET35 wheels which has worked fine since then, but I started tracking it and I'm growing tired of swapping tires every time so I started looking for an opportunity to get another set of dedicated even lighter wheels.

In the end I went for the classic RPF1s in the same size thinking it would be fine, but when installing them today to my surprise they do not clear the calipers.

So my question is, is their a known list of performance wheels in 15x7 specs that will for sure clear these calipers ?

Thanks

Will offer 'another' possibility for you - swap front brakes to non-ITR rotor and Wilwood DPHA calipers. Your RPF1's will fit over that and the calipers are 15 lb lighter than OE ITR front calipers.
I actually have this setup on my ITR that is 2,170 lb, but I don't track...

RPF1s have always been known to have poor brake clearance.

Enkei PF01s have plenty of clearance for this brake setup.
949 Racing just re-released the 6UL
Rays Gram Lights have a few wheels with plenty of clearance.
Hell, 2001-2005 Civic OEM steel wheels clear just fine.

Pretty much anything but a 15" RPF1 will do.

I don't recommend Wilwood DPHA (or really anything Wilwood) for track use. They're fine for street cars and hot rods.

Sorry, I did search the forums and Google but couldn't find what I was looking for, poor choice of keywords maybe...

Thanks for all the suggestions, this is very interesting. I'll look into these wheels asap !

Do you know if the König Hypergram or Dekagram clear the calipers by any chance ? They're a bit cheaper to ship for me as I'm located in Europe. Couldn't find any mention of them on the forums except that they fit the GSR, which has smaller rotors...

Thanks

I would think 'probably' because they have pretty good clearance, but maybe an email to the company would be best. Again, the RPF1s are a weird outlier with bad clearance. It's always been a fact about them.
