Timing belt
So I was trying to change my timing belt and all was going well until I got to the tensioner unfortunately it was stripped and I was trying ways to fix it eventually I fixed the car and everything was timed perfectly and so I put the car back together and when I cranked the car it wouldnt start. I check my timing and I though it was out of time when I saw my crank mark line up, but my cam shaft was upside down(I didn’t realize that’s why the two rotations were needed) so I spin the cam shaft over without the belt trying to adjust it back. And so eventually the car still wouldn’t start and so I though the motor was blown but I tried to take it apart to fix and when I line up the timing marks again I saw that my cam was upside down again but my crank was aligned and so I rotated it cam shaft again with out the bolt on trying to put in back into place. so my question now is was the rotation the cam shaft a second time necessary. And did I bend valves? My valves aren’t getting stuck and neither did I make a lot of force rotating the crank but I was don’t wanna end up putting it back together without knowing?
