Suggestions? I've seen highly polished transmissions, which are nice. I'd like to polish it but I'm a bit shy about removing metal with sandpaper or wire wheels, however. Simichrome polish did nothing in a small test area, probably due to the coarseness of this casing. Eager to do something basic but nice, then get it back on the road.

 

I just painted mine with a silver high heat paint. Looks nice.
