1995 honda accord main relay takes forever to engage
f22b2 SOHC non v-tec manual that will take anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes to activate the main relay (the CEL stays on until it engages). I recently bought the car off my sister who said she just replaced it, I checked the voltages at the relay and everything seemed okay. Once it engages initially i can turn the keys off and back on and it will usually instantly reengage without the engine running. Once the car is on it runs fine with no CEL or anything. When the engine is warm there is little to no delay, once it cools off it's almost random. Is there anything else I can try or do I just chalk it up to a bad ECU?
Voltages going to, or coming from? Main relays aren't that expensive. It also can be confused with other relays. See if a different one fixes the problem.
Honestly not too sure, any help there would be appreciated. I checked at the relay itself and all the voltages were what they should be at the right time at each of the wires.
