Cutting a hole in wheel wells for UCA-need pics
I'm lowered on coilovers and sometimes my UCA claps on the wheel well. It's either shave the UCA or cut the wheel wells. Any body have any pictures with the wheel wells cut?
Look at your shock tower from the wheel well, and look at where they’re hitting.
Drill a hole in the center of that.
Now look in the engine bay where the hole you just drilled.
cut out a 3”x3” square from that area.
Go take a drive and see if it still hits.
even better, compress your suspension and measure how high the UCA protrudes.
Take that measurement and create a cap out of some sheet metal and weld your shock tower back together.
Paint it, and enjoy.
