Hi, all. Does the brake booster vacuum hose(s) that connects to the backside of the intake manifold chamber have any effect on the ABS or the pressure of the ABS system? I do have ABS issues, light is intermittent with the "high-pressure system" code. I only asked because I discovered that the hose that connects to the intake manifold chamber was trashed it came off in layers, and it was so brittle to the touch it was cracking with a little squeeze. Anyway. No one makes this part anymore, so I replaced it with a pretty good junkyard part (NOT the one in the picture, that is the same part, but just for reference)... Since I have done that, I've noticed my ABS light hasn't been coming on nearly as often. I have no idea what the correlation is here, if any, but it seems to be working out in my favor either way(?). Thanks!
Yes, I know, I should fix the root of the problem and I have the service bulletins and the other documents to fix the ABS module nothing has been working for me after several attempts and methods, and I may just replace it with another one to see if that does the trick. In the meantime though...
