Bled Out the Master CYlinder
I’ve bled brakes a handful of times in the past, always properly; that means never letting the master cylinder bleed dry. This time, however, I pumped one time too many and the petal went to the floor.
Sure enough, the reservoir was empty. I cursed my negligence, refilled it, did the pump/refill cycle. Once the petal came back up I resumed bleeding the rest of the system and called it done. A day or so later and I feel a moment of vibration when I stomp on the petal where no such vibration occurred before.
Anyone familiar with this sensation? Does this mean I have to bench bleed the master cylinder as punishment for my inattentiveness?
