Default Right high beam doesn’t work

For some reason on my 05 civic both low beams work and the right high beam works but the left does not and the high beam light on the dash still does show when turned on. Used an amp reader and was showing no power to the connector. both the lightbulbs work for sure because I tested them in the working side. Any suggestions?

Since it appears you have a Canada model Civic, it has the DRL control unit. Power to the high beams comes through the DRL control unit.

There may be an issue with the wire coming from DRL control unit, or a faulty DRL control unit.

My money would be on the control unit itself. My '03 Acura EL is on its third now. The previous two both had the same issue with cold solder points cracking and no longer allowing current to flow. They're not bad to repair, but they're also fairly cheap to replace. The only major issue with either is the placement of the thing high up under the driver's dash. Awkward spot to work in 😝
