2012 Civic Hybrid

A/C works perfectly when car is at low RPM (below 1500) or when outside temperature is below 65 degrees F. If RPMs increase above 1500, the fresh air button will activate and the compressor will shut off. The fresh air button cannot be deactivated until the key is turned off and then back on. All the other buttons on the panel appear to function normally except the A/C does not work even though the ON indicator switches from OFF on the display. Compressor will work again until RPMs increase over 1500. Air temp is 51 degrees at vent when compressor is working. Freon is fully charged at 0.98.
