I own an 02 Honda Accord LX, my ignition switch is going out and I plan on replacing it myself. Then once replaced was planning on bringing it to the dealership to get the new keys programmed, but I am having trouble trying to figure out the ignition switch bypass that you have to do with the key to get it to start.
So I would just like to know if anyone is still active here can you help me figure out what I need to do to bypass the ignition switch until I get the new keys programmed?

 

I think there is something in the OEM service manual, but I have zero time to check over the next few days.
