1990 Honda Civic DX Sputtering Problem
I have a '90 civic DX sedan. A month ago I had a problem with the engine sputtering and behaving like it was going to die. Then it did at a stop light and I had to get it towed because it failed to start as well.
The spark plugs had a lot of oil on them due to a failed valve cover gasket and a few other rubber bits around the valve cover. I purchased a kit and replaced the rubber bits and got new plugs and wires. However, the engine still sputters and acts like it's going to die in low gear, and when idling in gear. It doesn't seem to be an issue at highway speed.
Has anyone else dealt with a similar issue? Any suggestions on what to replace?
thanks
