Wish I found this sub forum earlier. Anyways posted this question in the 2001-2005 Civic page.. but didn't get much answers(obviously they don't drive EP3s)

Been needing to get rid of my car but have no clue what this car is worth? Bought the car brand new, my intentions was to some day swap a K20(A2, Z3 whatever) and use it for the track but my budget for my other car doesn't allow that. It's a silver 2003 EP3, been sitting on my driveway parked for the last 10 years. The car needs a new windshield, tires, struts, battery and maybe a new engine(the car was running the last time I drove it). Car has 230 000 km, no accidents, has a dent but can easily be pulled, has the HFP kit but is cracked, interior is in okay condition(no cracks on dash), rear has been stripped (still have like new rear seats), coilovers are leaking but have stock shocks and springs(less than 20 000km), new rebuilt calipers with crappy new pads(less than 2000 km). I know its basically a rolling chassis right now, so what is this car worth..? I also thought about parting the car out.. any idea what parts are worth taking apart and and for how much? I prefer not to do this cause of time, storage and there's just not many people in my area driving EP3s.. but whatever gets the most dollars I guess?

From your description it's worth the scrap value- $150-250 most places. If it were running and driving maybe as much as $1,000. But in the end, it's worth what someone is willing to pay you.

Also most other model specific sub-forums on here have rules against non-technical posts, and mention "how much is my car worth..." threads specifically. I guess the Mods are less strict in this sub, but this would get locked elsewhere.
