Hello,
I have a 2003 Honda Civic and I have no dash cluster information (it's black screen) and I can't put the vehicle in gear, it's stuck in park. I have checked all the fuses and can't find any bad. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I just went through that. But strange it hasn't done it since the 1 night I was trying to work. I have no clue why.
I know I have transmission issues. Can get going when I'm starting from a stop. 1st gear is hard to get it to catch. And my motor mounts are really bad.
I'm going to start with mounts and it's suggested to do tranny mounts at the same time. UGH
Then from surfing the net, I'm going to replace the shift solenoid.
Do any of you have any experience with any of the above.
The battery yesterday just quit while I was turning into Walmart??!! No warning at all. Never had done it before. i just bought a new battery and that's taken care of. Whew.
I found a guy that will look at it and see if what I'm thinking along the right track of what is needing replacement and what comes 1st. I'm on SSI so trying to replace part's and pay someone for doing will take me at least 2 months on the above. He's willing to do it and work with me on mechanic fees. I just don't know anything about the car and I don't want someone ripping me off and I don't get it fixed or I have more each time to have to cover than I realize.
I pray 🙏 for an honest man here and I hope I can pay him and part with 350.00 😱.
I'd appreciate any heads up, opinions or warnings u might have.
