Hello,
My mother has a 2003 Honda Civic and on the center console, next to the cigarette lighter is a small red light. While I was pulling out the front panel to replace the header, I broke one of the wires leading to the red light and I haven't a clue what it is to replace it with. Or, for that matter if it's even needed. Anyway the attached photo shows what I'm asking about disconnected from the console.

Likely just the indicator from an aftermarket alarm/security system.

 

Ok, thanks. She lives in another state than me so I hope her car doesn't lock up after I'm gone!
