Default Remove CAI for winter or not?

Tried a search and came up with nothing. I live in centeral Ohio, and it is getting pretty cold. This will be my first winter with the AEM CAI. Has anyone had problems running their intake through the winter? I am mostly concerned with the snow and ice driving. Have you ever had your filter plug up with ice or snow? I am running all the stock inner fenders and under pans. Thanks!

i have cold air intake and i actually cut it and made it into a short ram intake. i saved the other end so that when summer comes, I will be putting the end back on so that my cai will be complete again. but for the winter, its not like im gonna be racing so I just cut the intake. im kinda paronoid, yes..but i hear so many stories of hydrolocks. bleh. good luck with yours.

p.s. i dont know if the filter can actually be plugged with ice or snow..lol..but water from when the snow melts can get sucked up by the filter.
