I recently replaced the head gasket on an 05 Civic (I'm not a mechanic but I can watch youtube videos). The intake manifold was almost completely clogged from carbon buildup of the EGR system. I have a bunch of other Honda civics and Fits (1991 to 2013) and I'm concerned they are all suffering from the same problem. Is there a way to clean everything related to the intake system where the EGR system creates carbon buildup? This must be a ticking timebomb on every Honda! EGR is crap.
