How on earth do you get this thing to come apart?
There are 4 screws that hold the faux leather cover on, all visible screws have been removed, but i suspect there are more underneath the sliding mechanism, but i cant get to them without sliding the entire mchanism apart, which is prooving to be almsot impossible, ive scrathed and broken lots of pieces o fplastic trying to get it apart.
Even if I removed the entire center console from the car, that wouldnt get us where we need to be. The actual sliding part needs to be dissasembled.
Ive been to Honda, and they seem to suggest that its just not something they do, theyre not really interested in helping, they even tried to suggest that we are bad people for having bad arms that destroyed their engineering. lol.
Has anoyone sucessfuly re-upholseterd this or seen anyone pull one apart?
I am so close, i just cant fiknd the sweet spot with a bunch of steel rules to compress whatever clips might be holding it from sliding off.
This particular one doesnt seem to be like anyhthign that peopel are advertising on the net, i think australia has a very specific model, its different to all the threads ive read while lookign for answers.
