Default Battery Issue?

I have a 2015 Honda Pilot. Recently, when I start the car the battery light (charging system indicator) and "check system charging" appear then disappear after a few seconds. This started happening over the last few days. This will happen from time to time and it is not every single time I start the car.

Does this sequence mean the battery is slowly dying or there is something else that has a potential problem?

Default Re: Battery Issue?

It could be the alternator or voltage regulator. Some auto parts stores have a battery tester/charging system tester combo that they can use on your car while it's in the parking lot.
