D16y7 high idle low idle iacv issues
Upon other issues that have been fixed, my 1999 d16y7 m/t is giving me a headache. My original iacv (3 wire) was idling high (1500rpm) and eventually would surge once warmed up, p0505 was my only code, i cleaned it and i checked for vacuum leaks and had nothing, the port inside of the throttle body going to the iacv had a lot of suction. When covered the car would stall, the same went for covering the throttle body. The idle screw wasnt touched.
I replaced it with another iacv and it would idle at 500 rpm period. (No cold start high idle) just straight to 500 and when warmed up would stay at 500 rpm. I adjusted the idle screw and it would idle at 650ish, but when the gas was pressed and let off the rpms would drop below 500 rpms and jump up to roughly 1000 rpm and start to surge up and down. And hot a p0505 code.
I need some help, ive been scouring the internet to get to the bottom of this and i just end up more frustrated than before.
Any advice would be great.

Update, as of right now, no cel, and car runs 750ish at idle. I ended up removing the plate at the end of the original iacv and rotated the blade 180 degrees to access the inside (backside) of the iacv and cleaned it real good with carb cleaner and qtips. And then rotated the blade back 180 degrees. In Which the blade was open approx. 1/4 of the way. Reinstalled the iacv back onto tb and reinstalled tb. Did a idle relearn and so far its running fine!
