I'm working on a customer's 2015 Civic with the R18, and I just wrapped up an engine replacement on it. I noticed while finishing up that the wiring for the ECT sensor 2 on the bottom of the radiator was ripped out at some point. I don't think I did it, as the stranded are pretty corroded like it's been exposed for some time now, but I'd like to get it taken care of to knock out the check engine light. Only problem is that I can't find where the wiring goes. It doesn't seem to be part of the engine harness, but it looks like it should be coming down the right side of the radiator (looking at it from the front of the car) with the fan wiring, ambient temp sensor wiring, etc.
Would anybody be able to get a picture to give me an idea of where to look for the other end of this harness? I can't find it anywhere.
Those diagrams are exactly what I needed, thank you! I'll poke around in the corner there, I figured that's where the harness would be running but I wasn't totally sure. Now at least I know for sure I didn't pull out those wires, and it was the previous front end damage the car appears to have had.
