Default Which Delphi fuel pump assembly part # will fit my '91 CRX Si?

I'm looking for a Delphi Fuel Pump assembly (strainer included), with the identical specs to my original Honda fuel pump so that it will fit my '91 CRX Si without causing any install problems.

I am confused by what's out there on the market. A Delphi fuel pump assembly part # is shown as HP10236 on RockAuto as being the right fit for the 91 CRX (1.6L engine), but the image of the strainer shown is positioned differently than the position of my original Honda fuel pump strainer. I was told that if the strainer position & angle are not the same as the original, then there will be an inaccurate reading between what the gas gauge indicates and the actual amount of gas that's in the tank.

So, the questions are:
1. Does Part # HP10236 include the strainer? And if so, does it comply with matching the OEM part's specs?

2. There is also a Delphi fuel pump assembly sold on PartsGeek with the Part # 6031-05941808 that will apparently fit my 91 CRX. The image of this unit showing the strainer's angled & extended position seems to match the appearance of the OEM fuel pump strainer on my car.

3. Are Part numbers HP10236 and 6031-05941808 the same fuel pumps, with a variation in the strainer's positioning, or are they two different parts made by the same company?

My goal is to purchase the entire fuel pump assembly that looks and fits exactly like OEM fuel pump on my car

Has anyone used the above Delphi fuel pumps for their CRX's with successful results? Any helpful info provided on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

If the image of the parts geek assembly looks the same, try it out.. The fuel strainer will have no effect on gas level reading on the gauge - thats the fuel level sending units job.., the strainer position may cause interference when installing into the tank if not correct or if it's mounted too high, you will simply run out of gas when the tank still has gas in it.. Too low and it may cause the strainer to bottom out and compress so the fuel pump will starve and cause the pump to work harder which leads to issue's. I may not be 100% on correct info but that's what I think!

Thanks Max! Definitely will have to do my due diligence to get a fuel pump as close to Honda's original specs as possible. Part of that is to ask a lot questions.
