I bought a 2019 Acura ILX back in November. I am currently having an issue where the passenger side DRL is going out. It's not completely out its just really dim compared to the drivers side and kind of yellow. I called the dealership this afternoon and they said that the entire headlight assembly has to be replaced and quoted me almost $1500 for JUST the part. Does anyone know if there is any work around or any other options i have to fix it?
1. Ordering the part online would be less for new.
2. Getting used is another option; but, the condition of the lenses may not be as good as what you currently have. Will you be happy if that is the case?
3. What trim level is your ILX? Base trim level headlight part number is different than A-Spec.
