Need help with power steering
I need help with the high pressure power steering hose. The end that threads into the rack is completely stuck. I ended up cutting the metal tubing and tried everything. I've used sockets, crows feet, wrenches, pliers, and nothing works. The only wrench and crow foot size that'll fit onto it is 14mm and that just slides on the threads when I apply enough torque. Can't fit a pipe wrench in there either. Is there some specific special size nut Honda uses for this? One size down from 14mm is too small and one size up is too big. I'm at a loss and don't have any other transportation.
It is 14mm. Are you using a 6-point 14mm socket? 6-point socket has less chance of rounding vs a 12-point socket.
What about a 14mm flare nut wrench?
Have you seen these videos?

I was using a 6 point socket and I watched that and several other videos. Managed to get it off after soaking it in wd-40 for a couple days, almost stripped it but it worked. Now the low pressure power steering hose end that connects to the rack is stuck. I cut most of the hose away but I snapped the head off that 10mm bolt that loosens the clamp since it was was badley rusted so now to deal with that. That ones even harder to get to then the high pressure so that'll be fun. The wing nut that loosens the belt tension is a bit of an issue as well. I had no problem loosening it but I can take the bolt completely out and the power steering pump and belt doesn't budge.
So I managed to take everything out, put all new hoses in, a new belt, new fluid. I drove my car about 20 miles alltogether and the whole time it was making a clicking noise. When I stopped at a gas station the car wouldn't start unless I really gave it gas and driving it like that and stopping it wanted to die. In my driveway now tried readjusting the belt but to no avail. Just won't start now
