I replaced my rear rotors and pads today on my wife’s 2012 Accord. When I stopped the first 5-10 times, it was kind of noisy when I came to a complete stop - basically a clunk. Then, when I’d start driving again I was hearing a fairly loud knock, knock, knock noise. It did that maybe about 7 times. Now, after about 10 starts and stops, the noise has completely stopped and the brakes are working fine. If it was my car, I’d just drive it and wouldn’t worry. However, it’s my wife’s car, and I like my wife, so I want to make sure I’m not missing anything that might be a safety issue? Any ideas what might have caused that issue and whether I should still be concerned even thought the noise is gone.
