Hey everyone, first post!
I currently have a built turbo GSR, and will be going K series soon.
I got a K24a1 complete with harness for $200
I have a 2012 Accord Manual Transmission with cables and shifter at the junkyard for less than i got the engine for.

My main concern is, i will be using Hondata for this build and i want to know what i will need to change on the harness to make everything work without “issues” because i would like to find an aftermarket cable throttle body - the one that came with the k24a1 uses Throttle by Wire. What do i need to do to the harness to use a cable throttle body for this set up. rewiring or deleting things. i will be using Hondata

ALSO PLAN FOR THE BUILD
- 700whp Turbo
im either going to go with a vtec killer set up (i have k20z3 exhaust rockers) OR purchase tsx cams and rockers while all utilizing the k24a1 Head.
The head will be getting valves/springs/retainers
Bottom end will be getting cleaned and honed and a strong piston/rod set up for boost

The CRV engine harness will not work in a swap car. You didn't mention what year/model chassis that you have... only that you have a built turbo GSR (is this the actual chassis or just the engine that you are referring to ?)

 

Why wouldn’t the harness work?
and yes i’m sorry it’s a 2000 EM1 with a Built turbo GSR.

 

Have you found a conversion harness for your 2000 EM1 that adapts the CRV engine harness ?
