94 civic lx d15b7 crank issue.
Ok guys we need some help!!!! We have a 94 5 speed that we were driving with no issue. We changed out the clutch and since then have had nothing but issues. After putting clutch in we got a couple days out of it on the last day of driving it it made it about 2 miles down the rd and died. Had to tow it home. Since then we have replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter, fuel pump, ingectors distributor, cap, and rotor, fuel tank ignition coil. It ran around the block smooth like a champ after about a hr went to go crank it made it out driveway and died. I was going to check the code but it wouldnt read. I swapped out the ecu with my 95 honda that i know is good and it reads cps thats inside the distributor that i just replaced when it drove around the block. It still wont crank, ive checked the timing and its on point. Please some9ne tell me what im missing!
It cranks right so do you have spark. If you are getting a cps code if I read you right it might be s problem in the wiring, if you do not have an scope to read whether the cps signal is reaching the ecu from the distributor I would check continuity on the cps wire or wires from the distirbutor to the ecu. the harness might have caused something when you replaced the trans. At least that's what I would look at.
Recently picked up a 97 civic sedan I wanted to upgrade my speakers so changed rears no problem and got a Kenwood single din bought some kenwoods speakers for the front and wired them and they don’t work I tried testing out the speaker and it works great idk if it’s the speaker wire itself because the fronts were already cut. Need help please
