Default BOSE radio Honda Accord 2002 coupe Cassette

Hi guys, im new to this so hopefully, you guys can help me with this problem. I have recently bought a Honda Accord Coupe 2002 (6th gen) with a BOSE radio unit. The car runs smoothly but I have one problem. I can’t get to get my radio unit to work. I need to put a 5 number code in. I know the press 1 and 6 trick but that doesn’t work. I have tried it multiple times, even when i cut off the battery and reset the radio. When i try to contact a Honda dealer they tell me that even they can’t find my code because it’s a BOSE.

What I also tried, is to remove the radio unit and look at the back of the unit. I got a serial code but a couple of sites (where you can buy your code) told me that this is the wrong serial code. Even my.garage didn’t give me the code because either the vin is wrong or they don’t have a code for my serial number

Does anyone have had the same problem. Preferably, i want to use the original radio unit. Hopefully you guys can help me because I can’t find any other solution.

(note: I have contacted Honda. They’re working on it too. 1 and 6 doesn’t work and 2 and 6 doesn’t work either)

thanks in advance for helping.

This is the radio unit I have in my car
