I need to admit that I am not huge car guy. I have a 2000 Honda Civic Si that I am going to sell. I know that there is a market for them but I don't know what price to start at. First off, it is high mileage (262,337) it still runs good and was a daily driver up until yesterday when my wife got another car. The body and interior are in fair to good condition. The paint on the hood isn't looking so great and it probably needs some rear shocks. I am the second owner and I bought it from a good friend who did not abuse the car. The engine has never been modified and only shop mechanics have worked on it. I am open to any advice you guys can give me. Thanks!
I don't know where you're at but here in NC I could probably get 5000-7000 for that car even with the insanely high miles just because it's completely unmodified and in great shape. Do yourself a favor and get some Mother's Mag & Aluminum Wheel polish. Comes in a small white tub at Autozone or Wal-Mart. Use it with a cotton cloth and rub your headlights until they shine like new, takes like 5 minutes and it will significantly increase your asking price by making the front end of the car look 10 years younger.
