So I started buying the parts to add A/C to the car (came without AC originally), and when I was looking at the firewall tonight I noticed that it doesn’t seem to have the oval cutout for the connection at the firewall. Here are some photos, but I always thought all 92-95 civics were identical and now it looks like potentially the firewall doesn’t allow you to add AC? Hopefully I’m wrong…

 

That hole you pictured is just an optional wire passthrough. The oval cutout is up behind the battery.
