Need Help with ECU
Im currently experiencing a problem of my fuel pump not priming and I figured out it’s due to cold weather. I seen a video where a dude heated up a certain part of the ecu that controls the fuel pump and after he heated it up, it primed and started the car up right after that. He then left the ecu outside to cool down and didn’t start. Shortly after he warmed up the ecu once again, the car started and fuel pump primed.
Now onto my question, is it possible to get a different “modern” ecu that isn’t as old and won’t give me that problem when it comes to cold weather? If so can you guys let me know and what I’d have to do after receiving the ecu to make the car work properly with the new bought ecu. Another thing, I plan on kswapping my ‘95 civic hatch so if it’s possible to also get a new ecu that does both things, help me solve and fix the fuel pump no priming due to cold weather and also a ecu that works alongside a kswap, that would be ideal.
Thank you for you guy’s time.
