1980's_civic_wagon_woes
Hello everyone.
My name is Dan and I own a couple of 80’s Civic Wagons and sadly the honeymoon is over. After 6-7 years of somehow trouble-free and uninterrupted service my cars have begun to act up.
Of course, the issues are with the engines. My 1982 wagon needs a crank, and my 1983 needs cylinder head bolts. As I’m sure each and every one of you here on the forum knows – parts for these classics are becoming harder and harder to source.
I was encouraged to join this forum by a kind person working for the Summit Racing company. He was trying to help me find parts for the cars and we came up short. I’ve looked on eBay and a few other places and couldn’t find anything; well, anything that looked new – or didn’t feel like a gamble.
Is there anyone here on the web who might be able to lend me some guidance or perhaps set me up with some parts for these gems??
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
