Swapped Transimission For JDM.
Hey Guys,
I recently swapped my transmission in my 2005 Honda Civic Reverb as my original transmission went on me around 350k KM.
I got an import from Japan, and everything is all good with the swamp just one thing I noticed is the rpms are quite higher now. For example previously to the swap at 120KM my car would be at like 2900rpm ever since the swap now I’m at 3400-3600.
also noticed if my speedometer is at 100, I’m actually doing 90.
Just would like a couple opinions before I bring it up to the shop that swapped it for me.

The gear ratios and/or the final drive ratio in the new transmission must be different than those found in your original transmission... this would be why your engine RPM's at any given speed are higher than before.
