Sliding door will not open
I have a Stepwgn RG1. A few months ago the seat belt got caught in the door. After that, I could not open the sliding door. I managed to force the seat belt back out of the door jam.
All fuses checked. The sliding door is not automatic.
On the door latch assembly, there are two connectors. One has two wires that go back to the lock actuator. The second connector has from memory 6 wires. When I put the second connector back into the door latch assembly, I could hear the door latch actuator motor working and the door moves in or out a few millimeters.
I have tried some level of physical force but I think the door latch is somewhat stuck. The seat belt is intact so I don't think anything is stuck in there.
Does anyone know how to proceed?

Looks like the door latch cable is broken on the latch side.
Does anyone know how to open this sliding door? I have a replacement part so trashing the old part is okay. I bought some wedge pump bags as I thought as the door moved a few mill I could force it open that little bit more. I can get a few more mill from the pump bags. Maybe I could get a coathanger into the latch from there. But not to sure.

Hi i have a similar problem tried pushing the door out with my feet. No Luck, I was able to get the door panel out after a struggle. I lubed all moving parts but it appears the cable is stuck in the pulley which is only accessible by removing plastic wall panels in rear. I will try that next.
