Hi guys, I'm from South Africa. Just got myself a 2nd gen prelude.

Car is running but needs some tlc which I'm going to be doing in the next few months. Spray job so rust can be treated. Anyway

The real question is, has anyone ever K swapped a 2g prelude?

I've seen a K20z1 swapped into a 3rd gen (search k20 3rd gen on YouTube and it's like the first video). From some research, it does look like space is super tight but it seems very similar to swap into 2gen too.

I can get a K20Z4 type r motor with transmission for R47500 (+-$2500). Extra items like mountings and items required for manual conversion I'm looking at an extra $1000. Then fabrication, etc not too sure yet.

While that's done, I will do the brakes and suspension too.

I am looking for some advice on this.
