Squealing noise mainly when dowsnhifit
Hi there, I have very little knowledge on cars so I thought to seek help here. I have a 2002 Honda Civic si coupe that just last year got new brake pads, im tires, oils change, all the works. The last few months I’ve noticed a squealing noise which started off only when reversing/ shifting into first. It has gotten worse with the cold winter and now squeals when reversing, starting, downshifting in 3rd and 2nd, and even while “parked” (hand break). I can’t tell where it coming from because again I don’t really know much about cars. From what I’ve read it could be belt or brakes? But maybe I could get some advice as starting points to look at in my car and go from there. I also added a vid of what my car sounds like in case that helps at all lol. Thanks for any advice given in advance!
