Icon5 Latch closing mechanism

Hello, since I recently bought my Civic EG, the door lock/unlock button is not working, and I suspect that the lock rod is not attached to this button. Do you have any pictures of the door without the door panel, so I can understand how it is arranged and how it is attached? Can I fix it myself, or will I need to consult a welder?
I will attach photo below.
I apologize in advance for the text, my English is not strong.

It's most likely the plastic lock button/lever itself has broken where the rod connects to it. It's not uncommon. If you take the whole handle assembly off the door you will then be able to look at the backside of the lock lever and see if it's busted.

I've had to grab a couple of the handle assemblies from the junk yards in the past to fix a broken lock lever in the past. Mine was on the 92-95 series.
