my igniter went out on me (for the second time) and i'd like to know where i can get an igniter? i don't need a distributor (i think), but i would like to be able to fix this problem. any help appreciated, thanks

There was a recall on the ignitors from Hondas around that time. I already had to replace mine. One thing to know, is that when you look at the ignitor, the recalled one has a brown color on the back (not visable until you remove it). When you get a new one, make sure you get one with a black back. Don't get the same defective kind you alredy have.

 

Also the recalled ignitors say OKI on them. Thats another easy way to tell.

 

Thats another thing. I couldn't think of what the name was. I think the new one i got was made by NEC. What a pain in the *** those things are. I was having problems with mine for like 4 months before i found out what was wrong.
