Honda Civic 1.8 (R18) Blow by from crankcase
Hi! First time poster here from Sweden!
I have a Honda Civic 2015 hatchback with the R18 engine, the car har rolled 25 000 miles. When the car is idling and I lift the oil filler cap it lets out alot of pressure, almost like a steam boat. The car is well maintained and drives great, really responsive and gets pretty good gas milage. Can my piston rings really be worn already? Or is it something else I can do to relive the crankcase pressure?
I have replaced the PCV-valve with a new OEM. Where should i start? The PCV outlet that goes in front of the throttle body has very little suction given its a naturally aspirated engine, could I help this line ventilate better?
What would you do?
Best Regards
David
