94 cx EG what is the widest tire i can fit on it with a 16 inch wheel

I have a 94 cx EG, what is the widest tire i can fit on it without rubbing... thanx

205 series I believe.

i have a 215/40/16 on it now so i know that isnt true... i want to go a little bigger...

i got 205/45/16 and i scrape on turns and stuff and my car is not that low at all, i still have fender gap... with fenders cut out too..

Prolly you have wrong offset wheels..

ya with my luck they probly sent me the wrong ones. but they said they were the right offset rotas.

I dont know if you could go any bigger than 215.
