hi guys, so my trans went out on my f23, 2001 accord. Automatic. I’ve been searching and searching for donor cars but everyone and I mean everyone is parting this car BECAUSE of a blown trans, so very difficult on my end.So my friend offered me his v6 3.0 2001 accord for donor trans and motor swap. I’m just a little nervous on swapping a 4 banger to a v6 because I know a lot goes into it such as subframe swap and what not. But if someone has any knowledge about this could you please let me know what is everything that I would have to swap over? What is required to swap? I just don’t want to give myself more issues but this is my only chance on a working transmission. 😂 this is happening in the near future so please let me know 🙏

 

It's so much more than just a subframe swap. The engine bays are entirely differently. It would require cutting the mounts out of the V6 car and welding them back into the 4 cylinder car. Then there's the wiring and so much more. Honestly not worth it.
