On my )8 Accord a mouse bit into the line going to the fuel pump. So I took off the cover to the fuel pump. Found a hole under the lip of the hole in floor board. I cut it but cannot get a handle on the line to do any kid of connection. So I am face with removing the fuel. The other thought was to run a new line off the fuel and go over the tank to the lines that run under car and splice it to one of the lines there. I just don't know which of those four lines supply the engine. If I knew how I could get the plastic line in my grasp to fix it without removing the tank. Garages wanted 400 dollars to remove the tank. i just can't figure out how reach the line or move it to where I can work on it.Can't find any info on how to make the fix or remove the the tank and Chiltons doesn't show you enough and then I think that I have to remove the pump to siphon off the tank. is there a restriction in the filler neck that won't allow me take the fuel out?
