Fitted a new stabilizer link as the bushes were dead on my original. I tightened the new one up until it "felt" right. It's number 15 on the lower front diagram
I could continue to tighten until i split the new rubbers but didn't think they needed to be tightened all they way.

Is this right

Just tighten until the the rubber contacts. No need to smoosh them flatter.

 

Amazing, thanks for the reply. I could probably back them off a bit really as they are a bit squashed.
