Ecu turns off randomly and after moving abs wires
Hello, I'm having a weird issue with my civic which has a basic k24a1 swap. Basically I had this issue for a while where sometimes when driving or idling the main relay would click, turning off the ecu and making the car shut off instantly. I've been having wiring issues with my Chinese harness ecu connectors for a while but I can confirm that they are ok because I fixed that and nothing happens while wiggling the wires. What I found was when I just slightly touch the wires from the ABS fuse box, the ecu turns off and the car dies instantly. After taking out the battery and inspecting and disconnecting/reconnecting all the nearby connectors everything looked ok so I put it back together and now the car wont even start
. It cranks while the main relay just clicks constantly. Im not sure exactly if its the ABS wires since there is another harness nearby which can get moved slightly but from the smallest touch of the ABS wires it turned off.
I thought I fixed this before because the + cable coming from the ABS fuse box to the battery was loose, and after tightening it down the issue seemed to go away but now its back but that cable is still tight. It seems to me like a loose connection since moving the wires causes the issue (as well as hitting bumps sometimes) but I could not find anything that looked out of the ordinary. All fuses are good and the car runs very well when this stupid thing isn't happening.
Another thing to add is for some reason when connecting my laptop to the ECU it shows the battery voltage at about 8v? even though the battery is actually new and at 12v. If anyone has any input I would really appreciate it!!
