I have a fairly stock 1994 EG. I’d like to have a more modern touch screen car play compatible stereo. Given that I’m limited on the dash to single din, it seems most single din with bigger screens would block climate controls. While staring at my dash endlessly I wondered if I could swap the radio and climate controls. I know there would be work to the slots. But not sure what else to anticipate. I have seen videos swapping the CC to a lower console for 96-00. I have an AT so. The (very expensive) jdm lower console won’t work for me.

I wonder if any one has done this swap or figured out logistics? I’m also interested in modern single din touch screens that people may be running…
