Hello all
Greetings from Papalote, TX
My wife and I have been riding for over 50 years and like most we started on Hondas then progressed to Harleys, now in our mid 60s and not riding for a few years I was thinking the old FXRP Superglide was not a good candidate for revival for the wife, it was barely low enough as it was and a bit heavy for her.
So I stumbled upon a 22 Rebel 500 with 400 miles on it, read many reviews and thought it would be a good bike, how wrong I was!!
Fist impressions are not good although they may be somewhat addressable.
The handle bars buzz worse than my 58 Panhead, absolutely shocking compared to what I expected from a 2022 Honda, 5 miles and my hands were asleep, did not take long to regret not test driving this before buying it.
The gearing is also way too low, 50 MPH and I am looking for more gears.
I sincerely HOPE these can be mitigated somewhat.
