Need Help With Stalling Tried Everything - 2005 Civic
My 2005 Honda Civic stalled on me while I was driving down the freeway about a week ago. It was like the car just turned off, putting my foot on the gas did nothing but there was still dash lights. Now, when I try to start the car, it turns over and runs for about two seconds, and then stalls and dies. It doesn’t choke or sputter before it dies, it just shuts off. There are absolutely no codes. I have run every test I can think of and cannot locate the source of the problem.
Things I have tested which have no issues:
Even though it’s a 2005, it only has 100,000 miles on it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else it could be at this point? I’m at the end of my rope.
Thank you for your help!
Things I have tested which have no issues:
- ignition system - getting spark on all cylinders
- replaced spark plugs
- Fuel system - good pressure, good injectors
- Timing belt is not broken
- Good compression - 190psi ~5-10psi
- Checked all fuses
- MAP sensor
- TPS sensor
- Antitheft key symbol turns off after two seconds
