Wipers slams when wiping 99 accord couple
99 accord with about 190k on it. It is raining season and every time the wiper wipes it slams back and forth. It DOES work, just slams when it gets to the top and especially hard when it gets to the bottom. It actually moves the car a little when the wipers are on.
Are there any adjustments or the a stopper that I need to replace? I got the car about 2 years ago used my cousin. It was an issue back then but I didn't drive it as much as now.

the wiper linkages are worn. not terribly difficult to fix on this model.
you can buy the complete "transmission" that bolts in with arms and spindles and all. but that's usually overkill.
I have always put new linkages in because that's what you get if you go OE. But looks like you can buy just the bushings after market: Dorman 49464 they snap into the arms.

I was able to replace it with the bushing from Dorman. Saw a video where someone heated the plastic and hammered it in. Bad idea. it cracked it. Had to buy another set. The best way to do it is with a 18mm/19mm socket and using a C-Clamp.
