HELP
Hey y’all. I’m having some difficulties with my 2000 Honda Civic DX EK. I did a mini swap on it. It’s a y7 block/z6 head. Running tuned p28. All stock with SOME aftermarket parts. My issue is and has been, I can seem to reach the proper voltage to be able to safely drive it with no issues. I’ve gone thro 4 alternators, new ELD, have eBay obd2b to obd1 tucked harness and oem b series that fits and works-ish. I’ve checked fuses, ELD alternators, wires to the best of my knowledge. I do know my first alternator was overcharging my battery to where it was smoking. My cells were empty and refilled them. Second alternator was my oem one from when I pulled the motor, that was over charging. The next three in a row alternators have steadily been sitting at 12.5-12.6v! What do you think it could be. I am a rookie and have self taught myself a lot of stuff but this one has stumped me. Help and advise needed please!
