Default B18C1 GSR burning oil like a damn 2 stroke

My b18c1 is burning oil like crazy and i have no clue why anymore, compression was great (210, 210, 220, 230), i replaced valve guide seals and all other seals in my valve train, replaced head gasket, and yet im still burning about a quart a week. The interesting part was all four cylinders had burnt oil caked on the pistons pretty evenly yet my intake ports were practically spotless so it’s unlikely that it’s a lot of blowby (i think). I also have a cheap little catch can that’s been working pretty well but i’m not sure what it is anymore. Some other guys in these forums said it might be my valve guides but im not sure cause that means that all 8 valve guides would’ve had to go out at once or (more likely) they weren’t installed correctly when the motor was built. this motor only has 7k miles on it and the entire bottom end is completely built, forged rods, wiseco pistons, css racing block and a couple other things. I plan to tear down my heads again mid december, any advice would be so greatly appreciated, i can’t figure it out for the life of me.

Ps. Just as an idea of how bad it’s burning oil, if i give it more than 50% throttle there’s a whole smoke screen behind me pretty much. no bueno.

kinda hard to see cylinders 3 and 2 but they look the exact same as 4 and 1. also this motor only has 7k miles on it :/

this could be a possibility but i think it’s highly unlikely cause there’s pretty even burn in every cylinder and these are pretty damn new pistons. when i pull the heads i’ll probably pull the pistons aswell and double check. Thank you!

I assumed boosted application with the closed deck.

I have witnessed a turbo B series break the ring lands on every piston in a single pull. It smoked and burned oil like crazy.

yeah that does make sense but it’s NA so idk, i’ve been looking at other posts and im almost 100% sure it’s my oil seal rings cause my oil was just replaced and it’s already dark, it does have an aftermarket ecu WITHOUT a knock sensor, the original tune did have trouble with knock so it could run pump 91, and my compression is a but lower than it should be from what i’ve seen and most importantly (i somehow forgot to mention this) the pistons had some play at tdc... It looks like my compression should be around 250-260 in each cylinder with a 10.5:1 CR and the highest was 230. My current theory is that my oil seal ring got completely fucked by knock and my compression ring is kind of damaged and my oil seal ring is fine. I plan to really only replace my piston rings now. Thanks for the warning though as I am planning to boost it .
