problems with the vtec after swapping from auto to manual on my civic 97 ex
I installed an A000 mechanical transmission in my civic ex 97 automatic. But, the vtec does not receive the signal from the ecu to activate.
The ecu I have is 37820-p2p-k71, and I think it needs to read the automatic transmission sensors to send the 12v signal to the vtec valve. The problem I have is how to make the ECU think that you still have the automatic transmission.
